Geochronology and Geochemistry Characteristics of Dongcao Muscovite Granite in the Yifeng Area, Jiangxi Province, China: Implications for Petrogenesis and Mineralization

Dongcao muscovite granite, as the product of second stage magmatic intrusion Ganfang composite pluton, is closely related to mineralization Li–Nb–Ta rare metals in Yifeng area. This paper aims discuss diagenetic age, evolutionary process, and relationship with metal granite by using petrographic, cassiterite U–Pb dating geochemical analyses. Petrographic analysis shows that lithology medium– fine–grained monzogranite. The results show age 139.7 ± 6.7 Ma, which Early Cretaceous. indicates rock characterized high Si, abundant aluminum alkalis, low Ca Fe, Mg, this a strongly peraluminous rock. Moreover, enriched Rb, U, Ta, Pb, P, Hf depleted Ba, Sr, Ti, earth elements (REEs), tetrad effect REEs. Based on analysis, highly differentiated formed tectonic transition from continental collisional post–collisional settings subduction Paleo–Pacific plate. A degree crystallization differentiation occurred at early evolution, resulting initial enrichment Li–Nb–Ta–Sn. melt–fluid interaction late significant Li–Nb–Ta–Sn until final mineralization.
